Despicable Me: Minion Rush is an endless runner on Windows 8. The game allows players to control one of Gru's Minions, sending him through the obstacles of the lab.

Endless runners are incredibly popular on phones and computers. It has a lot to do with the simplicity of the game play, which all you do is jump, strafe, and sometimes duck. The games usually end up being all about timing and presentation. While the fundamentals in Minion Rush are quite good, it's the presentation that really allows the game to shine. If you like Minions, this will probably be one of your favorite ways to waste time.

Like most products related to Despicable Me, the game is only enjoyable as long as you're charmed by the atmosphere.
